SMS/Text Messaging Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Helmer Dance Studio text messaging program ("HDS Text Updates"). By opting in, you agree to these terms.

1. Program description. HDS Text Updates sends information to families enrolled in or interested in Helmer Dance Studio programs, including class cancellations and inclement weather closures, schedule changes and reminders, event and registration updates, and account or billing reminders.

2. How to opt in. You can opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided and are at least 18 years old. Text messages are intended for parents, guardians, and adult students, not for dancers under 18.

3. Message frequency. Message frequency varies, typically up to 5 messages per month, with more during busy times such as recital season or weather closures.

4. Costs. Helmer Dance Studio does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan.

5. How to opt out. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed and won't receive further texts unless you opt in again. To rejoin, reply START or opt in again through our website.

6. Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@helmerdance.com or (715) 377-9862.

7. Replies. Replies to our texts are not monitored. For questions, please email or call the studio.

8. Supported carriers. Messages are supported by most major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Consent is not required. Opting in to text messages is not a condition of enrolling in classes or purchasing any service from Helmer Dance Studio.

10. Privacy. Your mobile number and opt-in information are used only to deliver the messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our SMS Privacy Statement for details.

11. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continuing to receive messages after an update means you accept the revised terms.
